Leveraging Advanced Technology for Superior Vein Care

At Geller Vein Centers, providing exceptional quality care is our top priority, and this commitment begins with our use of the most advanced equipment available in the field. We invest in state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and treatment technologies because we know that precision matters. This advanced instrumentation enables more accurate diagnoses, facilitates minimally invasive procedures, enhances patient comfort, and ultimately contributes to more effective and lasting outcomes for the conditions we treat.

Pinpointing the Source with Sophisticated Ultrasound Diagnostics

Understanding the true origin of varicose veins and the often-accompanying pain, aching, or swelling is crucial for effective treatment. Dr. Geller achieves this through detailed vascular studies conducted directly on the legs. These studies employ non-invasive, bi-directional ultrasound techniques – a safe and painless method that uses sound waves to create detailed images of the veins beneath the skin. The “bi-directional” aspect is key, as it allows Dr. Geller to precisely map blood flow patterns, identify faulty valves, and detect venous reflux (blood flowing backward), which is the underlying cause of most varicose vein issues. This meticulous diagnostic process ensures we target the root problem, not just the visible symptoms.

Expert Vein Therapies

ENDOVENOUS LASER TREATMENT

For extensive varicose veins, we utilize endovenous laser treatment (EVLT) as an alternative to surgery. This procedure closes the affected vein by delivering laser energy through a small puncture in the leg. EVLT requires no anesthesia, is performed in our office, and takes approximately one hour to complete. The benefits are numerous:

  • Minimally Invasive

  • Excellent Cosmetic Outcomes

  • High Success Rate and Long-Term Effectiveness

  • Local Anesthesia

  • Reduced Risk of Complications

  • Improved Circulation
