Michael F. Graham, M.D. is a native of Miami.
He graduated from Coral Gables High School, attended Tulane
University, and received his medical degree from the University of Miami
in 1971. He completed a
surgical residency at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore,
including one a year of specialized training in shock trauma at the same
facility. After his
residency, Dr. Graham served as a major in the Air Force, stationed in
Turkey and North Dakota.
Dr. Graham, former vice-chairman of the South Miami
Hospital Board of Governors, has served in a number of capacities at the
hospital, including Chief of Staff, Chief of Surgery, Member of the
Medical Executive Committee, Chairman if the Trauma Committee and
Chairman of the Non-Invasive Vascular Laboratory.
Dr. Graham is a member of the American Board of
Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and the International College
of Surgeons. He has
co-authored 16 articles and textbook chapters, has performed live
televised operations for the American College of Surgeons meetings, as
well as broadcasts to Europe, South America, and Asia.
